1st skincare Routine

I usually don't have a skin care routine but recently started with one. I'm becoming more aware of the fact that I'm getting older day by day. During winter last year, I was constantly battling with dry skin. Even with moisturizer on at night, it doesn't help. My face was cakey whenever I put on foundation so finally, during Mother's day, I told hubby to only get me skincare product  and nothing else. He took me to Target and I got myself the Laneige toner, emusion, bb cushion, water sleeping mask, and the Olay facial brush.

So far, I love everything that I bought. I no longer battle with a flaky face whenever I put on foundation or bb cream except by my nose area. With using the facial brush, I kid you not, you will break out during the first two weeks. It's mainly because it's cleaning those dirt that are inside which are coming out. I would say for myself, that I don't breakout as often but it vary on each individual.

After using the items above for about 2 months now, my face definitely feels much smoother and more firmer than before. I'm happy with the result but am currently trying out different cleanser until I find the one that I like best.

Here are my review on the products that I've used:

* Laneige water sleeping mask
       It has made my face feel sooooo silky smooth the morning after using it. I feel refresh in the morning and do notice a difference. It's a must try out of all the product above shown if you don't want to spend on all of them. It's around $25 and I believed it was the cheapest one out of all the others.
       The container is plastic that feels really high quality. It's easy to open and close and comes with a little stick.

* Laneige Power Essential Skin Toner
      I bought the normal to dry skin since I have dry skin. I have never used toner before so I was afraid that it would be too harsh on my face but so far, I have not break out or anything. It does help take off extra makeups that are left from cleansing my face. It doesn't burn or dried out my face.

      The container is plastic that feels really high quality. All you do is twist the top to open it.

* Laneige Perfect Renew Emulsion
        The one I got was for all skin type. I wasn't too sure what Emulsion is but after reading what's it for on the Laneige facebook page, it's a light moisturizer. I use it after cleansing my face during the morning. I used to use it during the night after using the toner but I'm now using a Roc night cream since I'm starting to be aware that I now have wrinkle (crows feet).

    The container is made out of glass. There's a cap on it that you can just pull it off and just pump out the moisturizer.

* Laneige BB Cushion
     I got myself the light. There wasn't any to test out to know what colors it look like so just to be on the safe side, I took light. I feel like it's a bit light or white for me but it works after using blush and bronzer. Next time, I will surely buy the medium just to try out. One thing I love about this is that it came with an extra refill which is a plus. I believed the price for it is around $30. I've been wearing it often and one thing that does bother me is that I have to dig on the side just to get a bit of product out since pressing on the cushion in the middle doesn't have much. It doesn't break me out and makes my face looks smooth. The coverage is light and a bit buildable. Overall, I would definitely buy this again especially with an extra refill .

     The BB Cushion feels really high quality. There's a button on the side that you press to open it. Inside, there's a mirror and the bottom is where the sponge is. Once you move the sponge, there's a plastic that you have to open on the side to use the cushion which the bb cream is there. All you do is dab the sponge once or twice to get the product and dab it onto your face. It's easy and simple.

Crest(R) Be BzzCampaign

I got into the Crest(R) Be BzzCampaign last week and received the toothpastes about 2 days ago. This campaign is to try out Crest new toothpaste that came out not too long ago. I've seen it at the store and the design has caught my attention but the flavor of toothpaste isn't just appealing.

What I received are:
   *0.7 oz Crest Mint Chococolate Trek
   *0.7 oz Crest Lime Spearmint Zest
   *0.07 oz Crest Vanilla Mint Spark

If you're not sure how big the 0.07 oz is, they are the small travel size toothpaste.

So far, I have not tried it yet but will be reviewing them soon so stay tune!

****I received these products from Bzzagent.com. For more information, please visit Bzzagent.com

Update review:

*** Mint Chocolate Trek
               If you have kids around that needs to be supervise while brushing their teeth, this is definitely a toothpaste that you will need to supervise or put away if unused. The flavor is right on as what the name is. It taste exactly like a mint chocolate bar or like mint chocolate chip ice cream. I wasn't expecting it to taste anything like mint chocolate at all. I was expecting more of a minty flavor since all toothpaste taste minty. Chocolate is something that no ones want after brushing their teeth; especially at night. Now you can brush your teeth having a hint of chocolate that will do you no harm for your teeth leaving yourself with very clean teeth. Out of the 3 toothpaste that I received, this one is definitely the one that makes my teeth feels the cleanest.

*** Lime Spearmint Zest
             First thing that came to my mind is "I doubt it would taste like lime at all, if it does, maybe just a tinny tiny hint of lime only." After trying it out, I'm completely blown by the flavor. You can actually taste the lime...like an actual lime; just not that sour. The flavor is right on as what the name is said. Spearmint is pretty expected in every toothpaste or just the minty flavor but the unbelievable flavor of lime is really something new. I wouldn't had tried it if it weren't for Bzzagent.

*** Vanilla Mint Spark
            Vanilla isn't much of a favorite to me since I prefer chocolate over vanilla. If you know those vanilla perfume scent that smell right on vanilla; it's like that but just the flavor instead of the smell. It's right on vanilla.That's the first thing that hit you then comes the mint afterward. It's not a favorite of mine but at least I tried it out and the name is true to what it's called.

Thanks to Bzzagent and Crest that I'm able to tried these out. I wouldn't have bought any if I was shopping at the store just because I would've thought the flavor wouldn't be as strong or right on as what it's said. It would be nice if they have more flavors to tried out. I'm pretty sure if they do come out with different flavors, people would be doing the "toothpaste" challenge. The box and tube itself is very eye catching as I've seen them at the store whenever I shop at Walmart.

Dreams about losing tooth

About a month ago, I dreamt that one of my tooth came off. It was one of the bottom front tooth. Even when waking up, my dream was very crisp/vivid and I could still feel my tooth breaking off. Usually my dream doesn't feel surreal so I told my husband about it. He too didn't know what it means or if it even meant anything. I wanted to ask my father in law about it but hesitant and just maybe, it meant nothing. After that dream, I would wake up catching myself grinding my teeth. It happen for a few days but I thought it was due from stress. I then decided to ask my younger sister about it. She told me that it meant death in the family. Since it didn't sound too good, I just brush it off but told my husband about it. The next day, my husband and I was going to ask my father in low about my dream. Well, before we could ask,we got the news from my father in law that a relative (from my husband side) just pass away. He was my father in law's brother son. It happen within a week of that dream.

Just about a week and a half ago,I dreamt that my daughter lost one of her tooth. This dream wasn't too vivid so I just brush it off but I've noticed I've been grinding my teeth again a few days before I had that dream. After the dream, I stop grinding my teeth. So I put together 2+2 = grinding my teeth meant something. Worried, Every night after that, I would stay up and wait till 2 am for my husband when he comes home from work. lf he comes pass that time, I would call his phone like crazy. Again, a week after and we just got the news that one of my father in law brother pass away.

As much as I don't want to believe my dreams about losing tooth, the events that happen were true. I now do believed that losing tooth in your dream do mean Death in the family. This dream interpretation is true after all.

Rice noodle chicken soup- Khaub piaj

Rice noodle Chicken soup - Khaub piaj is a soup that's great to eat during the cold weather or when you're sick. I've been sick for the past few weeks along with my family. With bad cough and being so congested, I tried to cook less oily food.

Knaub piaj is a favorite among my family. I've been wanting to find a scratch recipe for the rice noodle and finally found a perfect one! The recipe that I used is from annievang. com. She have lots of great recipes!

The directions will be on her blog if you're wondering why I didn't post it up. She had it step by step with pic tutorial.

As said above, I follow the direction and recipe for the rice noodle. The process of the making of the soup, I made mine slightly different.For the noodle, I roll it with a rolling pin and use a pizza cutter to cut it up. Using a knife takes too long.

Since I don't have any chicken breast on hand (I prefer to use chicken breast), I use chicken drumsticks by skinning it, leaving some meat on the bone and chopping the rest of the meat. That way I don't have to take it out later and shred it up.

It's really simple and easy to make especially on a cold day.

Bzzagent Glade wax melts and plugins scented oil campaign

GLADE® WAX MELTS AND PLUGINS® SCENTED OIL CUSTOMIZABLES™

 I recently got into the glade wax melts and plugins bzz campaign. What came through the mail was a coupon booklet with 2 coupons to get the wax melt and plugins free. I got myself the clean linen and sunny day plugins along with the berry wax melt pk.

I have been using the plugins so it's nothing new to me. The plugins have a new design that it makes it more eye appealing when you have guest over. There are three setting and the lowest is supposedly to last up to 60 days. Even with the lowest setting, the fragrances is pretty strong. With the clean linen and sunny day scents that alternates throughout the day, my room smells really really clean. I wake up feeling refresh.

The glade wax melts is something new to me that I haven't used yet until now. Over the holidays, my sister in law bought one of the holiday edition which i found out that glade now makes wax melt. I've been wanting to check out glades line of wax melt since then but keeps forgetting whenever I go to the store. Finally, after receiving the coupon for one free wax melt pk, I was able to check out the wax melts. It didn't pleased me as much as I thought it would. The choices weren't much but they do have a variety. I end up with the berry scents and hopefully in the near future, I would be able to see more selections there.

*****coupon received from bzzagent.com.

Rimmel London stay matte liquid mousse foundation

A few weeks ago (might have been in Dec?)I found a selection of the Rimmel london stay matte foundation at Kmart. I don't remember if there's a whole lot selections of colors but I believed that most are from fair to medium dark skin tone. The one I decided to get was ivory.

I've been using this for a few weeks and must definitely say that this isn't as good on dry skin if you don't use it lightly + exfoliate well before use. I have dry skin and tend to have dry patches on my right bottom cheek and the middle of my forehead to my right side of the eyebrow. Even with the use of moisturizer and primer, I can still see some dry patches. If I don't pack it on too much and just simply use a little, it looks fine on me. If you look at the picture above, you can definitely tell that it's very thick compared to other foundation.

As much as I want to wear it, due to my dry skin, I would probably wait till summer when it's a bit warmer and see if it works then.
