Makeups Review

Here are some of the product that I recently just got or had it for a while now. These are mainly drugstore/local store cosmetic since I'm not too big on spending $$ on high end makeups.

The first picture on the left is Rimmel London Blush: Tickle Me Pink. I had another one that has 3 different colors but misplaced it somewhere; otherwise it's somewhere mix up in my makeup bag. I got it on sale at Target for $2.88 and thought it wouldn't hurt me to try it out. Anyways, I LOVE this blush! It's a shimmery pink blush that blend in well and can build up if you want it to pop. As for the other one that I misplaced, I love it too. I'll upload the picture once I find it and have time to.

Next one are the ELF little black/brown book? As with any other Elf's eyeshadow, there are fallouts. The pros and cons are mainly the pigmentation. Some are pretty pigmented while others barely pop up. They were $6 each at Target. I got myself the black one but my husband picked up the brown one for me to try out. Let's just say that these weren't worth it to get.

The bottom one I got it for a while now. I usually have shimmery eyeshadow and wanted matte eyeshadow. I happen to walk by the Physican Formula section at Shopko which was 50% off so I decided to buy it just to try it out. So far, I haven't use any except the bottom right. It's just perfect to fill in my eyebrows or just to contour my nose. It's not too light or too dark for me.

These are Milani cosmetic that I got from K-mart (sorry if I misspelled Milani). Since I don't have the bronzer with me, I don't know the name of it. It's a very very shimmery bronzer so if you prefer matte bronzer then I don't suggest this. I think it looks okay on me but don't use it often since it is pretty shimmery. The next one are their purple eyeshadow. I use Girls Luv Pink all over the lid and just put on black eyeliner. It's a very light purple coloyet very shimmery too. The color don't build up if you keep caking it, you'll get a shimmery eyelid. As for Royalty, it's a gorgeous purple eye shadow with a little shimmer. You can definitely build it up compared to the other one.
Last but not least are the 3 baked blush.  Berry Amore is a darker blush, while Dolce Pink is light but shimmery, and Corallina is kind of light. I have asian fair skin so Berry Amore does look a bit dark on my cheek unless I lightly tap my brush and swipe a bit on my hand before applying it on to my cheeks. Dolce Pink isn't pink at all. It's more like a very light pink highlight but if you build it up, your cheek will definitely look like you got a huge highlight. As for Corallina, I've been wanting a coral blush just to see how it is like on me. I guess Coral blush doesn't agree with my face lol. At first I thought it was going to be pretty pigmented like the other two blush but it's very very light. You have to apply a few time to see a flush of color. The other two feels creamy/powdery while Corallina feels really really dried up.

These are WetnWild's new eyeshadow palette. I got mine at Walgreen for $4.99 each. These are gorgeous colors that I definitely recommend getting. There are fallouts but most are really pigmented. The top one are  their matte eyeshadow. All of them are pretty decent except for the blue and purple. You'll have to build it up to see the color but it still doesn't blend nicely in together. As for the bottom one, the purples are pretty light while the dark blue doesn't blend as nicely as I expected. These are definitely great stocking stuffer or presents.

Same as above, this is also WetnWild's new eyeshadow palette.  The colors are also gorgeous. The left side is pretty light but I'm sure it's buildable. The turquoise is a gorgeous color that really eyecatching but the picture I took doesn't do it justice. At first I wasn't too sure about this palette but after swathing and taking pictures of it, I came to love this and can't wait to try it out!

I did the Maybelline Baby Lips Bzzcampaign a while back and LOVE their baby lips. They're really smooth and moisturizing. These are limited edition which I bought two pack; $7.99 each pack that comes with 2.  1 pack have 2 limited edition while the other 2 pack (I only bought 1) have another limited edition color along with another color that's out already. So.......on to what I got. The first one is the Coral crush which is a light coral/orangy color. The color just show on your lips a bit but doesn't pop out enough to see the orange. It has a hint of orangy tangerine smell and your mouth can definitely taste it (I don't mean it taste like it but when you apply it on it have that hint of orangy tangerine taste). The next one is Twinkle. It's a clear color so don't expect to see anything but it smells like peaches or those asian rose hard candies! The last one came with a limited edition color which is Pink Wink and another color that's out already: Peach Kiss. Pink Wink is a light nude pink color. It smells like bubble gum. It smell sooooo good that even my kids would think that they're edible.
The last one was one sale for $4.89. It's Revlon Grow Lucious eyeliner in Expresso. It's a dark brown color that glide on easily. I haven't tried it on all day so can't really say that it's doesn't smudge or anything but will update.

The last thing that I got from Walgreen last week are two profusion palette which were 99 cents each. I just bought it to try it out. You never know when cheap makeups are good. Anyways the first one is pretty okay. They were all pigmented except for black which barely showed and a bit chalky. As for the next one, colors looked gorgeous on the outside BUT very chunky/crumbly when swatch. The fallouts are pretty big and does not glide on easily. So out of the two, I rather buy the first one which is the middle  picture.

***********All products are bought with my own money!!!! Reviews are my own, honest opinion.

Claritin 24 hour relief

I know I only tried the Non-Drowsy Claritin once but I feel like I need to share since I've been waiting for myself to get an itchy watery eyes just to try it again. So....at the end of summer, my eyes became really really itchy. I took tylenol for a day but a few hours later the itchiness came back . That went on for another 2 days. Finally, I realize that I did a Children's Claritin BzzCampaign (link here) and those works wonder on my kids. So, I went to walmart and got myself a small pack just to try it out (I think it's $5 for 5 tablets). To me $5 for just 5 tablets was a bit expensive but I do anything to to relieve my eyes.
Right when I got to my car, I took one tablet and swallow it instantly. I don't know if it's just me but it seem to work right away! It works right after I swallow it; my eyes stop itching and didn't came back after that. I was thinking to myself...where have these been ever since I moved up here to Wisconsin? Summer here is really intensive compared to San Diego, Ca. The heat is unbearable without a/c and on top of that, my eyes tend to get really itchy especially during the first 2 summers.
One thing I'm not too sure yet is if it's non-drowsy because I was pretty tired on the way home since I barely slept due to my eyes so my husband had to drive on the way back.

Grandma :*(

It's been a while that I post. My grandma passed away a few weeks ago and I just got back from her funeral last week. This is my first that I had lost someone so closed and meant so much to me. It's hard knowing that she's gone even though I was just at her funeral last week. I guess I'm still in denial. I still denied that she's not here;gone. I guess I still feel like she's here; maybe somewhere near or just watching over us.

What breaks me the most was my grandpa. He cried every time he walks up to her coffin thus the others have to make him sit down. Overall, my grandma meant soooooo much to everyone in the family and has made a huge impact in everyone's life.

I still remember as if it was yesterday, she would send me to school as a preschooler and would pick me up. She would go to every school field trip with me when she can. I still even remember her telling my sister and I stories (dab neeg) at night before we sleep when we sleep over. It pains me knowing that she's really gone.....

I could just write so much more but don't want too share much info...

In loving memory of my grandma, Kia Vang. I love you always!

Glade Expressions Collection BzzAgent

I guess I have to rewrite this since the post earlier I wrote didn't saved and I end up losing whatever I've written before. Anyways.......

I got in the BzzAgent Glade Expressions collection campaign. I've used the spray before and loved it but have not used the oil diffuser before.

What I received was a coupon booklet for a free fragrance spray and a oil diffuser kit and the rest were like $2 off and $4 off for the product.

My favorite spray fragrance was the mandarin linden (if I'm correct...sorry if not since I don't have the spray here with me). It's smell like fresh linden! If you're not a fan of strong fragrances then I say this is perfect for all over the house.

As for the oil diffuser I got the pineapple one. What I love about this is that there's no need to plug it in! No batteries required! Usually with plugins, I have to worried about my kids unplugging it and trying to plug it back in with the risk of being electrocuted. With the glade oil diffuser, I have no worries about it at all. I just need to put it in a high area where my kids won't be able to reach and just leave it there. For the first 2 weeks, my living room smells soooooooooo good. Other than that, the smell is barely noticeable since we're so used to the smell that it does tend of fade. I would recommend buying it again.

Favorite online book reading site!

I know that I haven't been blogging since things in life is pretty complicated right now. Just one of those situation where you can't control it and I'm sure fate have it's own path for us.

What I wanted to share is my favorite app that I've been obsessing over for the past few weeks now! I've been staying up nightly only getting like 3-4 hours of sleep just because I choose to stay up. You can however opt out on the app and just read it online at their site which is http://www.wattpad.com/home . This is now one of my favorite app reading site and the writers there are amazing. My husband thinks that I'm crazy but I feel like I've learnt a lot of things about vampire and werewolves from wattpad LOL!

Some reccomendation on what to read?

So far, I've been reading vampire and werewolves stories only so these are the ones that I loved reading that I would definitely recommend to anyone's that a Twilight/Vampire Diaries/werewolves/vamp fan:

http://www.wattpad.com/story/1188656-royal-pain-watty-awards

http://www.wattpad.com/story/530831-bite-me

http://www.wattpad.com/story/452342-mate-or-mates-watty-awards-2011

Some stories are not completed but they're definitely worth reading. Those are the three that I have on my wattpad library on the computer but on my apps, there's lots of those. Have I told you guys I received an early b-day present from my hubby a few month ago? Well, I got a Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0 and loving it. Although you can only surf the net if there's wifi, the books that you add on your app will still be there in your library without the need for internet. Whenever I take my kids to their appointment, I would add as many books as I can and just read while waiting. Good stuff huh? Till then, you should check out wattpad.com !!!

Dentek Floss

I wasn't required to do this but I love the kids dentek floss so much that I actually went out and bought a pack for my kids. I'll post up the picture but my hubby's out of town with my laptop so I don't have it on the computer. Anyways, the kids floss are prefect for their small little mouth and teeth! It comes in 4 colors: pink, orange, blue, green.

I use it on myself but the floss is quite small but I don't really mind about it. For the adult floss, it's okay but I just don't like how the end have a really pointy toothpick. It's pretty sharp and all I could imagine is that if my little gal got a hold of it, she might hurt herself with it. Just being cautious. Both of the pack have coated fluoride so that's a good thing for the little ones teeth. The pack that I bought have 77 floss picks in it...forgot how much it was but I got it from Target.

updated 7/22:

After taking my daughters to the dentist, I decided to get another pack of the kids dentek floss since we're almost out. I can tell you that my kids love using it and the overall price is okayish. It's $2.88 per pack. It's cheaper if you just buy regular floss but much faster and easier to use the floss stick.

I now officially lost all of my pictures that I had taken including my precious photos!!!! QQ
I plug in the sd card in my laptop going to transfer the pictures I had taken and it wouldn't work so I had to put it in my camera which tried it through there but the files were all gone!!!!!! I'm so angry at myself!!!!

Hubby have the picture in my laptop so I can't really upload it since he's out of state for 2 weeks but I'll upload it once he comes back. My thoughts about the imPress:

Pro:

~quick and easy
~selections to choose from
~no drying time needed
~good for on the go

Cons:
~size may fit, too big, too small depending on your nails
~comes off if you do hard core stuff ( I have kids so it came off easily for me)

Those are just some that I could think of. Some were too big for my nails but others fit okay. It's good when you're going to a party or a night out but I do not recommend wearing this as a daily basis when you're busy with your hands. They do come off easily if you accidentally peel it. It will stick back on but won't be as strong when you first put it on, therefore it comes off easily.

I'm not too big of a fan on the imPress but if I'm going out to a party or something, I would definitely purchase them since painting my nails will take a while ( again, I have kids so my nails are never pretty when I paint them).

The many uses of Ivory

This is a required review for the Ivory soap from the Mom voxbox of July so it's the reason why I'm doing it but these are my honest opinion about the product. I have been using it ever since I received the mom voxbox.

~How you used Ivory Bar Soap:
       * Body Cleanser
       * Facial Cleanser
       * Clothes Stain Remover (food stains, ring around collar, etc)
       * Laundry Flakes
       * Soap Carving Project
       * Other

~What you like about Ivory and why

I actually tried the ivory soap as a makeup remover. I don't really suggest of your whole face since it's kind of feel icky, but it's really good at removing eye liner/gel liner. Those really hard to moved eye liner that even makeup remover can't remove it all. I did get some in my eyes which stung a bit but flushed it with water so I had no problems at all.

~Results you saw from using this product

Like what I wrote above, I use it as a eye makeup remover. I love it! So far I've tried 2 eye makeup remover and those two don't seem to removed the gel liner cleanly but with the ivory soap, it removes almost all of it. So...the result was great!

    ~Recommended uses for this product

Like any other soap, you can pretty much use it as you use the regular soap. However I've heard of people using the ivory soap for laundry. You can search through google for a homemade laundry soap if you're wondering what I'm saying or want to look for the recipe.

It's definitely for everyone. It doesn't have any fragrance to it so those that are sensitive to fragrance or with sensitive skin, I recommend this over some soap. Another thing, I'm one of those people that don't use baby wipes to wipe my kids bottom when they're done with their business; I prefer washing it to reduce rashes...even as a newborn I do noticed results of washing their bottom versus with wipes...with wipes, they tend to get diaper rashes quickly than when you wash it. So far my 15 months gal have no reactions to the ivory soap so that's a good thing.

~Your thoughts on Ivory’s value (Ivory is one of the least expensive bars and body washes on a per oz basis!)

I don't buy soap often so I can't really say anything about the prices of the value. What I do know is that I now love using ivory. I'll be looking forward into more ivory products!

Bogus Speaker

My husband and I was just at Walmart yesterday and came upon a speaker that was dangling on the side of the shelf at the game section. We're crazy mofo about speakers so we decided to get it just to see if it was loud enough since someone at his workplace took his good speakers. On the back, it stated, no batteries required which was a big plus for us. It was around $4 so what could possibly hurt?

On the way home, my husband played some music. The first one was very loud, and the next one was crappy. I was like whoa....did you plug in the speaker on the first one? That was very loud. The replied??? Honey, that was your galaxy player. The crappy one was the speaker. A huge big difference between them. Now I'll just stick to the bomb speaker instead since it's louder. I'll be returning the speaker that we bought.

This is a crappy product and a waste of money. It's even worth it to buy and I highly recommend the bomb speaker over it!!!

These 2 pictures are taken by me!

Influenster Mom Voxbox June 2012

This week have been pretty busy for me. Just yesterday when I check the mail, I didn't realize that the mom voxbox had been sent out and got mine yesterday. I was really surprised since I wasn't expecting it anytime soon! So here's what I received:

*Stash Superfruit tea sample + natural honey sweetner
*Quaker soft baked oatmeal cookie
* Ivory soap bar
*Dvd demo- Dino Lingo
*Dentek floss for kids and adult- 3floss in each pack
*Impress nail manicure

I was really excited to see the impress nail manicure in the mom voxbox as I've seen them at the store but didn't buy it since they're pretty pricy. I didn't really want to spend $6 or so on just nails that works for one time only but now, I get the chance to test this out and see if it's really worth it to buy.

For the stash tea, I'm not really a fan of tea but I'll give the sample to my in laws to try it out. The Quaker oatmeal's really soft and moist enough. It's not too dry and just perfect. My 2 1/2 year old son wouldn't share it with me but I got to nibble on some crumbs which was really really good. As for the Dentek floss, both are coated in floride. The kids one are small enough for your little's one mouth; you know regular kids one are as big as the adults one but this one's just the perfect size!

The last one is the demo dvd which I can not review since all I see are just 18 minutes of someone's vacation pictures. It didn't have anything to do with the cover of the dvd. I just e-mail influenster today about it and still waiting for a reply back.

On the video below, it's whats in the dvd demo. I'm just showing that it have nothing to do with the dvd covered.

I'm proud to say that I'm a Bzzagent myself since April 2011 and my husband just recently joined May 2012. I've been posting up about the bzzcampaign that I got in and in the near future when I get into more bzzcampaign, I'll just link this post for those that are wondering what it is. This way it'll be easier rather than re explaining about what Bzzagent is.

Are there any requirement?

You'll be required to take some surveys which will up your points. Another is once you get into a campaign, you'll  have to talk about the product face to face or social networking. Bzzagent.com

Very very late post on review

A while back I did a post on Luuux.com and have not find the time to do it on my blog. I totally forgot all about it since I had to reboot my laptop which I lost the pictures and came upon it again since I didn't delete a few of the picture off my digital camera.

The post was on a review of the As seen on TV music bullet and the bomb speaker.

So which is louder??????

Music Bullet:

( pictures does not belong to me...here's the link: http://www.asseenontvguys.com/music-bullet-as-seen-on-tv.aspx)

* Rechargeable
*Retractable cord
*Have different colors to choose from
*Loud
*pricy- $14.99 for one

Bomb speaker:

*Small and round...easy to put in pocket
*Rechargeable
*Can put it on a keychain
*Loud
*cheap- 2 for $10 @ Walgreens or 1 for $6 something @ Walmart

As you can see, I put loud on both since they are loud but when comparing one to another, the bomb speaker is definitely the loudest. Both are rechargeable although I do not know how long they last since I haven't time it and didn't have the music bullet long enough. I originally bought 2 of the music bullet but return it since my mother in law's bomb speaker was louder which I went to walgreen and bought the last 2 bomb speaker that was there.

Comparing the prices at Walgreens and Walmart:

Since the Walgreen had them on sale for 2 for $10, it's wayyyyy cheaper to buy it there than at Walmart. Plus the ones at Walgreen includes a headphone so I got 2 birds in one stone. Cheaper and I got something extra

Both are pretty okay since my brother in law have the music bullet but if you want something loud and smaller, I say go for the bomb speaker. It's cheaper but loud. I use it on my phone whenever I listen to music or on my laptop since it's not loud enough for me. When I use the bomb speaker, I really have to lower the volume down a bit since it's too loud.

Which one do you guys prefer?

Target bag!!!

This is the second time that I sign up for a free Target bag giveaway! Although I didn't include the first one that I got, I took some quick pictures of the one that I received today.

I do not know when the next bag giveaway will be but keep your eyes open on Target Style @ Facebook! The bag does not feels like those cheap dollar store bag at all. It's a nice quality size bag that's just perfect for your makeups. The sample size that I got are:

*Garnier Fructis color shield shampoo/conditioner sample
*Aveeno active naturals Living color for medium thick hair
* Neutrogena Ultra Sheer dry-touch sunblock spf70
*Tresemme split remedy shampoo
*Small sample of Revlon Color brust Lipbutter in Peach Parfait
*Coupon booklet for Target
*A blue makeup bag/pouch

So far I tried the Revlon lipbutter and love it. I might consider getting myself one but maybe in another different color since the peach parfait have too much shimmer. I usually love shimmery stuff but I feel that there's too much shimmer on my lips.

Review on Dr.Scholl massaging gel insoles- woman & men

This will be my review on the Dr.Scholl massaging gel insoles for woman size 6-10. I got it through Bzzagent.com. For those that don't know, I mention about it a while back. I'll do a whole new post on it so that way I don't always have to explain about it and just refer or link the link on each post. So here we go:

As stated in my last post, I was too excited to even read the direction. I just tore right through it on the paper back and already ripe the directions. At first I thought it was too long until I look at the top bottom with the numbers on it. I decided to cut it and luckily I was right on.

With my first try, the gel insole definitely feels different. It's something that I would probably get used to it later on but not at the moment. I have not tried it on my tennis shoe since it have gel in there but tried it on my heels and flat shoe. It's extremely comfortable without having an achy feet. At least I last longer with the gel insole than without it. I'm not a big heel person but I wear it
every now and then. So I say, it definitely support your feet while standing or running.

Cons- The only thing that I would like to say is that they should provide the directions on the back which would make it easier to see. I've seen these a few times and have been wanting to try it out but there weren't any direction about cutting it. It just show the size so I just assume that it's too big for my feet without realizing that you need to cut the top to match your size.

Down below will be my husband review.....

Honey's review on the Dr. Scholl massaging gel insoles for men size 9-13:

First I would like to thank Bzzagent.com for the opportunity to try this wonderful item. I really enjoyed the item however, I think this type of gel insoles in not meant for heavier men whose job is to stand all day at work and around machinery.  I experienced that the first couple of days the gel form was already taking a huge beating due to all my weight and pressure from standing.  After just a week, my whole foot already is sunk into the jell pretty good and the purpose of the gel wasn't really helping any longer.  I think if this was used on a daily basis like walking and or running i think it would best be geared towards that area.  As for a machinery type working area where you are bound to stand all day or constantly utilizing the gel support, i think it wares it out quicker then expected and also maybe certain weight limit as well. All in all it was an awesome gift however I just wished it supported me more towards what i use it for. thanks!!

Guess what came in the mail Friday!!!!!

I was super excited to be getting into the Dr. Scholl's massaging gel insoles bzzcampaign. After waiting for probably about 2 weeks now, it finally came in the mail!!!!!

Of course the first thing that I had to do first was take a few pictures but after that I just start ripping out the paper from the back to get the gel insoles out! Crazy huh?

At first I thought it was too big. The front was too long for me. After looking at it closely at the bottom, there were numbers on it indicating the size; 6-10. Since I wore size 7 I cut it up on the 7 but that was a bit too long so I trim it to size 6; just perfect. I didn't realize that the instruction was at the back of the paper.

These are not picture perfect since I was in a hurry to go off to my in laws since they have something going on during the weekend which I had to help prepared.

I didn't take any picture of the cut up after picture but did take one of my shoe that I had put it in.

These are my first flat shoe that I just bought over the weekend at shopko. It was $10 but turns out these were discounted to $7. I don't usually wear flat shoe just mainly because they weren't as comfy and some sizes doesn't fit at all. You know ones that fits but in the back there's a little space and if you choose a size smaller it's too small. This one is super comfy and fits perfectly although it doesn't look as nice as the ones that I wanted to get. The only problem that I noticed with this one is that the back of my heel's getting irritated.

After putting the Dr. Scholl massaging gel insoles in, it feels a bit weird since I'm not used to it but the irritation at the back of my heel had stopped so thank god I didn't get any scraped/blister there.

I do like it but they were a bit hard to put in since the gel was at the bottom but I don't mind much of it at all. Maybe I'll just wear it for about a week or more to get a precise review on it.

For those that don't know, I'm a Bzzagent and received these through Bzzagent.com. I did not paid or get paid to do this review. It wasn't required but I choose to do it since I just loved doing reviews. Whether it's good or bad, I'll share it from my own experiences and not from anyone's else.

Thanks Bzzagent for this opportunity to have the chance to try this out.

I would also like to include that my husband has also join Bzzagent recently and got into his first bzzcampaign which is also the Dr. Scholl Massaging Gel Insoles! He works all day standing up so I'm sure this will surely help his feet. We just got his in the mail yesterday so he'll be doing a review on this blog later on. I also like to add in that I have regular wide feet with an arch (for those that are just curious) and my hubby have a flat "bear" feet. Just something that I thought would be useful if I added it in as we'll be doing reviews on it from our experience.

Favorite Korean Drama!!!!

Hi everyone! I would love to share with you guys on my #1 favorite Korean Drama!!!!! I love watching K-Drama but usually the ending sucks but this one's perfect! You know in every Korean Drama, someone have to have cancer! Aren't you tired of that? Well, this one is different from those that I've seen so far and had glued me in. Sadly, there's only 20 episodes :(

Here's a image/picture that I got from the site that I've been watching (Don't worry I'll put the link below)

I don't know if you could see it clearly or not...if not, you can visit their site @ http://en.viki.com/channels/6784-rooftop-house-prince . This also goes to the drama too if you're not familiar with the site. All you have to do is click the tab below on the 65 Videos.

There's English subtitles to it as other languages that subbers subbed. I would like to say a big THANK YOU to the Joseon PowerRanger subtitling team. They were very fast....and I mean Very very fast (once the video uploaded, it took less than 1 hour just to get it subed!).  Maybe it's because everyone's soooo addicted to this drama! I really appreciate the work that viki subbers have done since I know it takes up a lot of time just to sub each and every episode. Again, A big THANK YOU!!!!

ZoMbiEs????

Do you believe that zombie exist? Or is it just the imagination of our minds?

Well, my sister shared this video that she saw on youtube recently. It's unbelievable but such things can happen I'm sure. With technologies and all these unknown testing, I'm sure that there might be an outbreak somewhere. This is just my opinion though.

So what are your thoughts about it?

GlossyBox US - May 2012

Guess what arrived in the mail today!!!!!!

After waiting for a few weeks, the May US glossy box finally arrived today! I couldn't had been happier!

For those that don't know, GlossyBox is a subscription service that cost $21 per month to get 5 deluxe size sample. They are send out at the end of the month and you can cancel at any time.

Anyways, the first thing that I did was film it and take some pictures before I start touching anything. Like most of the beauty/cosmetic subscription, it came with a card explaining what you're getting and how much they're worth at full size retail prices. Down below are what I got in my glossybox.....

 1) Amore Pacific Moisture Bound Refeshing Hydra-Gel (South Korea) - A hydrating gel moisturizer that leaves your skin feeling bright and refreshed. Notice your complexion visibly improve, giving you confidence and a natural glow. (Second row, left)

        * This one have a pleasant fragrance to it. I can't really explain in detail how it smells like but it have a perfume smell to it. It have a thin consistency but not watery at all...a thin creamy yogurt consistency that's light greenish blueish. I tried in on my hand and it feels really smooth with a hint of fragrance. This is preferably for gals to use as the fragrance is more feminine. The packaging's pretty cute and different. All you do is twist the top off. It also have a small mini mirror on top.

2) Burberry Beauty Lip Mist Natural Sheer Lipstick Copper No. 202 (UK) - A creamy lipstick that offers a hint of natural, sheer color leaving your lips moist and dewy. The perfect present for the perfect pout. (Third row, right)

     * The mini sample size lipstick's a perfect fit for small makeup bag for the purse. It's a natural sheer lipstick that's good on the go for all sorts for eyeshadow looks. If you want a pop of color, this is not recommended. Whether you wear makeups or not, this is perfect for anyone. I just tried it once and it feels moisturizing and a bit sticky? More review to come after a few more uses.

3) Marvis whitening toothpaste (Italy)- Make the most of your splendid smile with a whitening toothpaste dripping in cool mint freshness, all while protecting against decay, tartar, and plaque.(Bottom right)

*Have not tried it yet but it came in a silver tube. The tube is a bit bigger than the regular $1 travel size toothpaste that you usually pick up at the store. Obviously the toothpaste is white and have a minty smell to it.

4) Phyto Phytojoba Intense Hydrating Mask for dry hair (France)- Indulge in luxury and aroma with a conditioning treatment that moisturizes and detangles strands without weighing hair down. Nourish, revive and delight. (Second row, right)

*It's a foil tube that have a thin texture to it. It's not runny nor is it thick but have a different feel to it comparing it to drugstore conditioner.

5) Zoya summer 2012- Beach and Surf Collection (USA)- Dive into the creamy shades and shimmering sea foils of the Zoya Beach & Surf Collection. Allow your nails to go on a vacation every day. (Third row, left)

     * This is a dark teal color which the nail polish is called Wednesday. I just applied it on a few nails and the consistency reminds me of the rimmel london nail polish. It probably would had been better if the brush was a bit bigger like the rimmel london nail polish brush; that way it's easier to apply and is more smoother.

6) GlossyBox brush- extra bonus?

    * Reminds me of the Elf brush although it felt kind of cheap compare to the elf brushes.

Reviews will be coming up whenever I get the chance to use these. I'll update it on this page. I'll be posting up a youtube video of the product when I have the chance to since I'm going to be busy this weekend and the other other 2 following weekend.

Pixie's Cosmetic- HauteLook

I recently made a purchase at Hautelook.com. For those that don't know, Hautelook sells cosmetics, jewelry, shoes, clothes..etc for a discounted price and certain items are limited as they only have certain numbers of those in stock. So far I purchase from the site twice so this is from my experience. Others may have a more positive or negative experience compared to me.

Last week, I finally got my orders from Pixies. It took about 1 1/2 week- 2 weeks just for my orders to be shipped out which took 3 days to get here. I was really really excited since my first purchase on the Urban Decay came with no problems.

Right when I received it, I open the box up immediately! I was super duper excited!!! From the packaging, it was okay but not the very best. They have tissue paper around the box and just a piece of loose bubble wrap. The items were in a bag with a hautelook sticker on it.

I open up the Pixi Lumi Lux Radiance Powder and the Pixi Ultimate Beauty Kit but no damage. So I thought, oh cool, with no bubble wraps around it, there weren't any damage. I assume that it goes to the other eyeshadow too. The 2 Pixie Pretty Eye Perfection weren't damage as I can see it clearly through but curious with what the colors look like on one of the Pop Beauty Punk Eyeshadow. I open it up and it was damage. So I decided to check out the other one too; which was also damage.

<---- As you can see on this one it's damage on both side but the middle's okay

<------ For this one, the one on the right side was damage

I immediately login to my Hautelook account and waited patiently to chat with someone online. I didn't have enough patients to e-mail and wait for their reply. It took probably around 5-7 minutes just to be able to chat with someone online. I basically told them that the 2 pop beauty punk eyeshadow was damage and that I just received it today. I gave her the order # and she told me that she'll process a return and refund paper for me. Then told me that I'll just get a refund back and that I could do whatever to the eyeshadow as I want; I didn't need to return it. (Maybe it's because it's only $3 each and it would had been cheaper to let me keep it than refund + return?) I was happy that I got it for free but a bit disappointed that it was damage since I was planning to give one to my sister in law. Overall, I was happy with the customer service so far. I have not purchase any shoes or clothes so I don't know how that would be. The only thing is that it takes a while just for your orders to be shipped out.

So here's the items that I got. Some eyeshadow are very sheer but buildable while others are pretty  pigmented. I have not try the damage eyeshadow yet nor the one at the bottom right. As for the Radiance Powder, it's very sheer. If you dab it on the rose, it gives you a sheer rosy glow while I barely noticed any orange glow. It's my first purchase on Pixie so I don't really mind much about it. Overall, I spend $39 including shipping and minus the $6 for the refund.

I think I'm going to lay off from purchasing cosmetic for a while since I do have a lot and I think I'm getting a little (a LOT!) addictive over it. Hubby said that I look better natural.

Swatches time!!!!

Here are some swatches of what I got this month:

The first are the Revlon Lip Butter: Tutti Fruitti and Strawberry Shortcake
I got mine at Walgreen when it's buy one get one 50% off

The two other are the softlips gloss. They're not sticky and have spf 10. I love the coral gloss since it gives a nice color that's not too pigmented or too sheer. As for the Pearl gloss it gives a little shimmer glossy look and is almost clear on the lips. They're located at the checkout lane at Walmart costing around $3 something. Sadly there's only 2 colors; wished they had more.

This one is Physician Formula newest blush. It have very eye catching packaging so that's why I got it. In fact, it's my first blush that I bought from the brand. The #1 reason was just for the mirror. I just thought that it was cool that it have lights. Anyways, the color is very pigmented so I suggest putting a little at a time. It's actually one of my favorite blush so far. I got it at walmart for around $11.

Physician Formula bronzer that came along with two eye liner. The bronzer is very light so it doesn't show nicely on my hand but does wonder under my cheek bones. As for the liner, I had the brown one with me at the time so I couldn't take any pictures of the black liner. Got it for $10 or so...don't really remember.

Rimmel London bronzer. So far I love it as much as I love the PH bronzer above. It's much more pigmented than the PH bronzer above and less costly. It was 50% off at Walgreen so I got it for about $2.88...for those on a budget, this is definitely one that you should buy.

E.L.F. blush in pink passion. One of my favorite blush from their line. I got mine at Kmart for $3. This one is very pink and pigmented. The quality is very nice but there are some fallouts (their blush +eye shadow have fallouts). For those that are on a budget, you should definitely get this one too. It's worth it! Even if you don't have a budget, you should try it!

Rimmel London eyeshadow that was 50% off at walgreen. They are nice colors but I haven't play around with it much. They were about $2.88 each?

That's pretty much it for the cosmetic that I got this month so far. I order pixi's eyeshadow at Hautelook.com and it should come in soon sometime this month. Hopefully soon since I just receive the tracking number.

May 2012 Myglam bag

I just upload the May 2012 Myglam bag. This is a quickie so there won't be much information until tomorrow when I take more pictures and put in thoughts about it. I'm off to bed now...good night!

Unfortunately I left the bag in the car which my husband took it to work so I won't be able to upload the myglam pictures but will upload some products that I've been taking pictures of.

****Updated May 29th, 2012

I took some pictures last week but has been busy during the weekend that I wasn't able to upload it. Here's the picture that I cram everything together.

*Miss Beauty Nail Bling - Have not tried it but basically it's just nail sticker

* Philosophy Love Sweet Love Spray Fragrance - Love this fragrance!!!! Just the perfect smell that's not too strong for me!

*myglam Concealer Brush & Defining Eyeliner Brush - Love the quality of the brush. I use the defining eyeliner brush as a lip brush.

*Studio Gear Complete Color Lipstick (In hot cocoa)- I didn't really like the color in the first place but it's okayish. It's a wearable color when I mix it up with others.

I wasn't too disappointed in this month bag nor do I love it. It's just product to try out just to see whether I like it or not. I wasn't really into the nail stickers since my nails are small! Some hearts are a little too big for my nails that I didn't want to cut out bits from the hearts. I mean, they fit perfectly on my thumb nails, but for the rest, it's just too big so I'll just put it away for the mean time.

The rest of the product are the ones that I'll be using every now and then. The fragrance smells sooooo good. It's just perfect....not too strong. I have a weak nose or you can say a strong nose...yes I do; even when my kids poop, I know it right away cause I can smell it...even if it's from across the room! This is just perfect for anyone...mom's, grandma's, ladies..etc. A perfect gift!
As for the brushes, I could use some brush as I'm just starting out on my makeup/cosmetic exploration. I use the defining eyeliner brush as a lip brush and the other one just as the concealer brush which I have no used for it since I prefer using my fingers instead of the brush. The lipstick is pretty okayish. I didn't hate it nor love it. It's wearable when I mix it with some colors or just dab it on lightly on my lips. It's a reddish brown color that would probably match with dark or dark brown eyeshadow, or if you just want a pop of reddish brown color on your lips.

Cuties juice!

I have a thing for jamba mega mango smoothie but could only get it at the mall which I don't go there often. But, just last week while at the refrigerated juice section, I found these new fruit smoothie. I had a love for the cuties mandarin so I know that brand's pretty good. I mean...who doesn't like those small cute orange mandarin?

My son's obsess with the orange mandarin; in fact, any good tasting orange will be gone in no time by him. That's not what I really want to talk about. It's about the cuties juice! I've noticed that they're new since I haven't seen it before and it was very very eye catching; it just pop out in front of my eyes. There were 2 big jug, 48fl oz, one was the regular orange tangerine and the other was the fruit smoothie. I was debating whether I should get two or just one. Next to those were 3 smaller bottle which I couldn't take a picture of. 2 smaller one were the smaller version of the bigger jug, and the other one have strawberry in it. With those, I decided to get the bigger jug of fruit smoothie instead and the other 2 smaller bottle which were the orange tangerine and the one have strawberry in it (sorry if I got the names wrong...I don't have the bottles with me anymore).

Right off the bat when we got to the car, I tried the orange tangerine. Eeeek....it's orangy but was kind of bitter. It have that orange bitterness in there so if you're not a fan of that, I suggest not getting it. I was glad I didn't grab the big jug or else it'll just be a waste. As for the orange strawberry, it was okay. I didn't hate it or love it. It was drinkable.

When we got home from Walmart, I tried the cuties juice fruit smoothie and oh my gosh! It was just so darn good. It's like a dupe version of jamba mega mango juice!!!! It have that orangey juice with other fruits...I just don't know how to explain it; you gotta try it! All I know is that I found a great tasting fruit smoothie that taste almost like the jamba mega mango smoothie (sorry if I got the name wrong or mixup...it's the one that have that orange juice taste to it with a mix of other fruits). It's just sooooo good.

So after hearing me brag, here's a bad picture of it as it's all gone and about to be thrown away:

Walmart Haul

I'm super excited to share my Walmart hauls! It was just a quick stop to Walmart for the Seche Vite top coat nail polish, but I ended up getting more items than expected. This is what happens when the hubby decided to stay in the car and I get side tracked.

Before I left the car, I ask hubby if he wants any socks which he said yes. I went straight to the guys socks section then remember that I need to get socks for my girls too. It seem that the sock monster's been eating up their newly bought socks 2 weeks ago. Before getting there, I saw the $1 sign. $1? Heck yea, I'm checking em out!

I couldn't believed my eyes at first so I just had to look at the tags on the clothes. There were mainly boys clothes left but no worries, I grab whatever was there that my kids could wear near the end of the year. Most of those were pants for my son and one of my girls.

Finally, I went and got some socks for my girls but then saw $1 sign at the girls clothe section which I got a few shirts for 2 of my other girls. After that, I went to the clearance section and found that the price for shoes have all been dropped to $3. Who could pass down shoes that are $3? There weren't much shoes left but luckily I found 3 pair of shoes that were size 6 -6 1/2. I usually wear size 7 but somehow those fit me (I guess I was just lucky). I couldn't stop squealing! Oh, by the way, I got some shoes for the kids too. I can tell that all those people that pass by me was staring at the loaded cart; but hey, for a good deal, I could care less....maybe not for my hubby, he probably be embarrass.

The last two things that I picked up were some pens that are at the clearance section for $1 each (they always seem to disappear no matter how much I had) and finally, the nail polish that I was supposed to get.

So here are my great deals find:
Total for clothes if not on clearance would had been $200 and something cents

These are all of the clothes, some stacked

down below left: 3 white pant, 1 gray, 1 black             down below right: 4 light blue, 3 navy blue
(worth 5 each)                                                                                  (worth 6 something each)

below left: 4 shirts                           below right: 1 girl long sleeve, 1 boy long sleeve, 1 boy shirt

<---4 outfits, top and pants together...these are worth $16 each

below: shoes size 6 - 61/2

Kids shoes same price: $3

                                                           Pens $1 each

Pricey top coat but worth it!!!! It dries up pretty fast...Just to keep in mind, read the warning on the back. It's probably something that I wouldn't had seen if I weren't taking pictures for my blog.

After the walmart buys, I went to dollar tree next and got some stuff. Here are just some that I thought that were a pretty good deal there:

I love the bronzing blush, as for the blending brush, it's the first time I've seen it at the store. Target nor Walmart doesn't have it. I just wanna try out the pressed powder and their gloss since I heard that those are pretty awesome.

Walah....Nail polish!!!! I'm a cheap nail junkie so when I find good deals, I just can't pass them on. I just gotta have one of each! I know, I'm greedy...I just have an addiction for everything

Just some toothbrush for my kids

I have not totaled up how much the shoes would had been but the total that I spend at Walmart was $90.15. I'm just soooo excited thinking about how much I had saved. I know not every walmart put clothes on clearance for $1 and it varies at some places plus it's seasonal too. For those that are able to get their hands on $1 stuff, have fun!
