Review on Maybelline dream bouncy blush

I've been meaning to do this but somehow I keep on holding it off. I took the pictures a while back but haven't post about it yet.

This is how the product looks like. I think I got the one in rose petal.

Before use:

   Before using it, my thought about the maybelline dream bouncy blush:

            *pigmented - would give me a nice pinkish color which would be buildable
             * feels soft and dreamy
             * creamy bouncy blush

After using it a few times:

*very sheer...not what I was expecting
*the product just love to move around
*apply it with finger

The one on the left is only one swatch while the one on the right I had to swatch 5-7 times just to get to my desire color which wasn't even close. Anyways, as you can see, it's very very sheer. What I love about it is that I use it on my nose ridge, which makes my nose looked more narrow.

So this is how it look like on my cheek. It's more like my natural blush although I wished it would had given a better pop of color. (* excuse my picture above as I have nothing underneath, still a beginner to makeup and I breakout using foundation)

Overall, I don't know whether I should recommend it or not. I start breaking out after a couple of use and have heard from others that they also break out too. Aside from that, I had to apply it on my cheeks several times just to get that natural blush look.

BeautyArmy Box- April 2012

This is the April BeautyArmy box which is the March selection. I got my box within a week after I selected the 7 sample. The extra one was because of the late shipping since my last box got lost somewhere in the warehouse.
The sample size aren’t that bad but I would love to see more cosmetic which I know this coming up selection might have some.  So on to the sample that I choose, which are:

1     1)      Weleda iris hydrating facial lotion –all natural face cream that is light, fast-absorbing that regulates your natural moisture balance and provides long-lasting protection against drying out.
2     2)      Weleda iris hydrating day cream- all natural face cream is a nutrient-intensive treatment that balances your skin’s natural moisture and provides a healthy base for facing forward and starting a beautiful day
3     3)      Babor sun care system spf 30- a moisturizing sun lotion for the face and body.
4     4)      Kellett skincare clarifying acne treatment- helps clear up existing acne pimples and prevent breakouts by penetrating pores and killing acne causing bacteria
5     5)      Cover FX skin prep fx- a oil and fragrance free primer that’s for all skin types including sensitive skin.
6     6)      Aquolina pink sugar eau de toilette natural spray- It have a vanilla, woody, floral, candy scent.
7     7)      Control corrective botanical soothing cream spf 30

So far I tried the pink sugar eau de toilette and it’s not that strong but I’m not into much of the floral woody smell. It smell good but later on it start to bothered me since the smell lasted for a while that I couldn’t take it anymore. I can say it’s for those that aren’t as sensitive to the floral woody smell.
If I ever tried out more of the sample above, I’ll update about it. Usually if it’s a product that I tried and liked or loved, I would post it up.

Review on Boo Boo Cover-up

For my March beautyarmy box (should be Feb selection but March for me since received my box in march), Boo Boo Cover-up was one of the sample that I choose. When I first open it, I thought I got rip off on my sample size. It was sooooo small. You can say that it's less than a teaspoon.

Boy was I wrong about the small sample size. A little goes a long way. So far I've been using it every day and I'm not even close to half way done! Just a little light dab and you already got more than enough for that particular spot that you wanna cover up.

What I usually do is lightly dab it and cover up my acne scar or pimple that form during that day. It can also cover up any redness, under eyes dark circle, or just about anything that you want to cover up. The sample size shade is in medium but it looks more like a fair skin/light shade. It's the perfect shade for me but I would recommend to use one shade higher as I'm a light/fair skin asian type and the medium shade is pretty light.

So, after using the Boo Boo cover-up, I would use my skin79 BB cream over it. That's just basically my routine whenever I feel like putting on make up. Another thing is that formula is pretty thick so you don't need a lot.
