The many uses of Ivory

This is a required review for the Ivory soap from the Mom voxbox of July so it's the reason why I'm doing it but these are my honest opinion about the product. I have been using it ever since I received the mom voxbox.

   ~How you used Ivory Bar Soap:
       * Body Cleanser
       * Facial Cleanser
       * Clothes Stain Remover (food stains, ring around collar, etc)
       * Laundry Flakes
       * Soap Carving Project
       * Other

~What you like about Ivory and why

      I actually tried the ivory soap as a makeup remover. I don't really suggest of your whole face since it's kind of feel icky, but it's really good at removing eye liner/gel liner. Those really hard to moved eye liner that even makeup remover can't remove it all. I did get some in my eyes which stung a bit but flushed it with water so I had no problems at all.

    ~Results you saw from using this product

    Like what I wrote above, I use it as a eye makeup remover. I love it! So far I've tried 2 eye makeup remover and those two don't seem to removed the gel liner cleanly but with the ivory soap, it removes almost all of it. So...the result was great!

    ~Recommended uses for this product

 Like any other soap, you can pretty much use it as you use the regular soap. However I've heard of people using the ivory soap for laundry. You can search through google for a homemade laundry soap if you're wondering what I'm saying or want to look for the recipe.

It's definitely for everyone. It doesn't have any fragrance to it so those that are sensitive to fragrance or with sensitive skin, I recommend this over some soap. Another thing, I'm one of those people that don't use baby wipes to wipe my kids bottom when they're done with their business; I prefer washing it to reduce rashes...even as a newborn I do noticed results of washing their bottom versus with wipes...with wipes, they tend to get diaper rashes quickly than when you wash it. So far my 15 months gal have no reactions to the ivory soap so that's a good thing.

    ~Your thoughts on Ivory’s value (Ivory is one of the least expensive bars and body washes on a per oz basis!)

      I don't buy soap often so I can't really say anything about the prices of the value. What I do know is that I now love using ivory. I'll be looking forward into more ivory products!
